While I do respect Assassins Creed as a series, there was a part of me that was a little uneasy about venturing into the American Revolution so quickly. Maybe it's necessary to advance Desmond's story arc but there is one thing for certain that I believe in and that's that there are several territories that we haven't ventured into in the robes of an Assassin as of yet.

A new character, guise in the robes of a hybrid assassin/ninja during Japanese new year undertakes a mission to eliminate a samurai general... that's it.
I guess the only thing that's missing are Templars, but we'll see
