This image was created from textures taken during the Vancouver level in Mass Effect 3. However, it made me realize something, an unfortunately common thing gamers often tend to miss in their games is their environments. The effort the developers put into adding minuscule details into every distant stretch of land, and how the illusion of a vast landscape is created. The same building model can be inserted several times over in one same scene yet look different at every different location of that same scene. To quote Aristotle, "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts." This is becoming especially evident in ever 'evolving' and modern games.
NOTE: This image was meant to be viewed in a higher resolution, for best... results (this is starting to sound like a commercial ) view this image at it's full glory. ______________________________________________ =========================================
